Four people were asked about their opinions of the town’s sports centre. Read the texts and answer Questions 1-7.

Online Learning

Person A
‘I started studying online last year, and I’ve really enjoyed the experience. The main
advantage for me is flexibility. I can organise my schedule around my job and family
life, which makes studying much easier. However, sometimes I miss interacting face-to-
face with teachers and classmates. Although we use video calls, it’s not quite the same
as being in a classroom.’

Person B
‘Online courses are convenient, especially if you live far from a university. However,
they can also be frustrating. I’ve had several technical problems during live sessions.
Sometimes my internet connection fails, or the platform stops working properly. When
that happens, it’s difficult to follow the lesson. I think technical support should be
improved.’

Person C

‘I’ve tried online learning, but I prefer traditional classes. At home, there are too many
distractions, and I find it hard to concentrate for long periods. In a classroom, I feel
more focused and motivated. While online education has advantages, it doesn’t suit my
personal learning style.’

Person D
‘I believe online learning has made education more accessible and affordable. People
from different countries can join the same course without travelling. It also reduces
costs such as transport and accommodation. In my opinion, it’s a positive development
that connects learners from around the world.’
