Dear Member,

I am writing to inform you of a change to our special event this Friday. As you know, we had planned for the world-famous chef Mr Oliver James to come and give a cooking demonstration to our members. Unfortunately, Mr James has been offered a TV show and has cancelled our event at the last minute.

We cannot refund the $15 fee, as we have already purchased the ingredients and equipment needed. However, we plan to still have the event using one of Mr James’ cookery books in place of the man himself.

Please let us know if you have any comments or suggestions to make the party as fun as possible despite the unfortunate changes.

Kind regards,
The Club Secretary
